IDEMIA – Trusted Identity (1:00pm)

Trust begins with identity. As bad actors become more sophisticated and regulatory standards increase, organisations can no longer rely on isolated identity checks and legacy authentication methods. A trusted identity foundation, combining biometric verification, identity proofing, and continuous assurance, is essential for securing access, combating impersonation, and enabling trusted digital interactions. This presentation will explore how organisations can build and scale trust in an increasingly connected world.

Topics Include:

  • Secure digital transformation
  • Digital Identity Ecosystem
  • Fraud Prevention
  • Identity Fraud Protection
  • Deepfake Detection
  • Anti-Spoofing Technology
  • Secure-by-Design
  • Zero Trust Security
  • Mobile Enrollment
  • Biometric Authentication
  • Biometric Identity Verification
  • Face Matching
  • Facial Recognition Technology
  • Fingerprint Authentication
  • Liveness Detection
  • Presentation Attack Detection (PAD)

Genetec – Physical and Cyber Security Convergence (2:30pm)

As organisations become increasingly dependent on connected systems, cyber security threats can have consequences far beyond computers and networks. This talk explores how cyber-attacks can directly impact physical security systems and how utilising cloud technologies can help mitigate some of the risk.

Your Speaker: Simon Cook, Director of New Offerings, EMEA. Genetec

Simon has been in the physical security industry for almost 20 years and a further 10 in networking and IT prior to that. Throughout his career, he has specialised in technical solution sales, design, and education. At Genetec he has designed solutions for some of the largest end users across many different verticals, around the world. He has led the global technical presales team and currently drives the growth of Genetec’s new cloud solution, Security Center SaaS, focusing heavily on educating the market on the industry’s cloud evolution.

Hirsch – Peeling Back the Perimeter (3:00pm)

Topics Include:

  • What is PIDS?
  • PIDS and its broad terminology
  • At each layer we’ll look into the different types of PIDS technology
  • New terminology of PIDS
  • PIDS and their suitability’s

Your Speaker: Adam O’Reilly, Perimeter Director, Hirsch
