| Total Security Protection was founded in 1988.
The company was originally started to provide a specialist electric lock installation service to the national security companies. This was a niche market and the company quickly developed and established itself as one of the leading companies in this field.
The company expanded to provide the complete installation service for fully integrated systems and completed projects throughout the UK, Europe and as far away as Cairo.
In 1994 the company merged with C.C.S. which provided a new base of high quality end-user customers. From this point on the company concentrated on winning its own new end-user customers rather that working as sub-contractors for the large national security companies.
With our own in-house engineering skills, we have been successful in continuing to attract new ‘blue chip’ customers across all sectors of commerce and industry.
In 2001 we acquired Codepoint Systems, an access control manufacturer owned by a quoted company. This acquisition gave us our own product and also further expanded our client base.
In 2003 we gained NSI accreditation quickly followed by our ISO:9001.
In 2004 we were awarded Investors in People.
